The clean-energy deep-tech startup Marvel Fusion has developed a novel concept for generating fusion energy. This approach uses so-called ultrashort-pulse laser technology to trigger fusion in nanostructured fusion fuels—a method that promises a higher probability of fusion and greater energy yield. Marvel Fusion is currently building two laser prototypes and is confident that it will be able to implement commercially viable fusion power plants for energy generation within the next decade.
